  1. Overview

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Science, Technology and Management (JMRSTM) is committed to fostering global scientific inclusion and ensuring that researchers from all economic backgrounds have the opportunity to publish their work in a premier open-access platform. To support this mission, we offer a specialized APC Bursary Program for authors residing in underdeveloped nations.

Under this program, eligible author groups will be subject to a nominal Article Processing Charge (APC) of only $1.00 USD upon the acceptance of their manuscript for publication.

  1. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the $1 USD APC bursary, the submission must strictly meet the following conditions:

  • Country Designation: The authors must represent a country officially recognized as an underdeveloped or low-income economy based on its Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

  • Complete Author Compliance: All authors listed on the submitted manuscript/document must be citizens of the designated underdeveloped country. If even a single co-author is a citizen of a developed or developing country not on the eligibility list, the manuscript will not qualify for this bursary.

  • Citizenship by Birth: Eligibility is strictly restricted to citizens by birth of the eligible country. Naturalized citizens or temporary residents do not qualify for this specific waiver.

  1. Required Documentation and Proof

Authors seeking to apply for this bursary must provide verifiable proof of their citizenship by birth at the time of manuscript submission. The Editorial Office requires the following documentation for every author listed on the paper:

  • A scanned, notarized copy of a valid Passport clearly indicating the country of birth, OR

  • A scanned, notarized copy of a national Birth Certificate, accompanied by a government-issued photo identification card.

Note: The Editorial Board reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify the authenticity of the submitted records.

  1. Application Process

  1. Submit Manuscript: Authors should submit their manuscript through the standard online journal management system.

  2. Request Bursary: During the submission step, the corresponding author must select the "Apply for APC Bursary" option and upload a single compiled PDF containing the proof of birth citizenship for all co-authors.

  3. Review Phase: The manuscript will undergo the standard rigorous double-blind peer-review process. The bursary application has no bearing on editorial decisions regarding the scientific merit of the work.

  4. Fee Processing: If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the bursary will be automatically applied to the invoice, reducing the total APC to $1.00 USD.

  1. Terms and Conditions

  • This bursary applies only to the publication fee. It does not cover any external costs such as professional language editing or data repository fees.

  • Any attempt to submit fraudulent documentation will result in the immediate rejection of the manuscript and a permanent ban of all listed authors from submitting future work to JMRSTM or any other journals published by Power House Solutions Private Limited.
